There was really nothing Alicia had come to loathe more then the idea of having to sit up all night and watch out for signs of trouble. Things had been incredibly weird in the wizarding world as of late, and thanks to the small number that made up the Order of the Phoenix, she knew that they were all pulling double shifts for everything they could possibly think of. And so, it had become her misfortune to sit up all night inside The Hog's Head Pub and listen, ocassionally venturing out into the darkness to see if there was any trouble that she needed to confront.
Hogwarts had actually been rather quiet as of late, and it made the girl a little nervous. Was the silence a good thing? Or was something else happening there that kept everything so eerily silent that an outside glance would not permit her a chance to see what was really happening? The answers that she sought were nowhere to be found, which frustrated the brunette to no end as she sat in the corner of the pub, head bowed down over her Butterbeer. True, she might have perhaps found more comfort in a stronger drink, but the idea was not to feel pity toward herself and drink until she passed out. She had never done that before, and certainly had no intention of doing so yet. Instead, she sipped her Butterbeer, keeping her head low but her eyes always moving.
There was no telling what one might see on a night such as this.
It was the second straight night that she had sat up, watching the small village of Hogsmeade, and even as she sat there she could hear the clock chime eleven o'clock in the evening. Most people would be asleep, but the life in the shady pub was only just getting started as people trickled through the door and met up with people they knew. And it was only just beginning. Was she watching for anyone in particular? Not really. There had been some rumours that a few of the lesser Deatheaters would meet up in disguises to discuss their next move, and it was her job to watch and listen for such things. Mad-Eye would have her head if anything managed to slip past her while she was sitting inside the pub that night.
The fact that she was tired mattered little to the aging Auror.

[[OOC: Thought I'd join? (: ]]
Fred was told to meet at The Hogs Head, George was going to be a bit late, since he was onto another creation for their store. He had seen what George was planning to do, fire gummies. It was supposedly to set your mouth on fire while eating it. Of course it was meant for your enemies. Fred was of course estatic about their first shop had began with a huge success. Even the students of Hogwarts had payed them a little visit just before school, and right when they opened for business.
His hands were dug deeply into the pockets of his coat as he walked briskly through the small village. It was awfully cold out tonight. A strange turn in weather. Even his breath was visible through the night. He glanced up to meet the full moon's light and he returned back to the road, peaking through every alley ways just in case. His wand was safely placed in his pocket. Though, it was still from his reach. If someone were supposedly to attack him, he would be in trouble. As an Order member he was taught that quickness was the key to stay alive.
He finally reached The Hogs Head. Slightly irritated how the little pub was all the way here, out of reach where the other stores were. He'd honestly would never chose to hangout here. But orders were orders and he would never talk back to Mood Eye. The man had honestly freaked Fred out a lot, and Fred wasn't a man who was easily frightened. Well in some situations. Fred pushed open the door with his shoulder and walked into the half-empty little pub. the warmth hit him almost immediately and a small sigh -in thanks- escaped from his lips. If he was to stay out there for the night he would've freeze to death.
Already, Fred was making his way over towards the counter of where Aberforth Dumbledore stood, well from here the old man looked like he was about to doze off. Fred knocked on the wooden counter top, a huge grin played on his lips as the old man woke with a start, already he was heard cussing a few curse words. Though, when his eyes landed on Fred a small smile appeared on his face aswell and already he began apologizing. "It's alright Aberforth," Fred said waving it off.
After a small talk about Fred's family and how they were doing, Fred ordered a butterbeer. His eyes scanned the small pub as Aberforth went straight to work on making the butter beer. His eyes fell on one particular young girl who was, evidently staring right at him. He smiled at her and made his way over to the corner where she sat."Alicia Spinnet?" He murmured the words out with his classy english accent.

The sound of the opening door was enough to cause Alicia's eyes to wander over toward the body that now joined the few already inside the pub, watching to see if perhaps she might recognize the face. And sure enough, she did. Not only was it a familiar face, however, but it was one that she was rather pleased to see for several reasons. One was the fact that she had gone to school with that individual who now wandered over toward the counter and woke Aberforth with a start. Another was the fact that he was a very good friend. And perhaps another was the fact that he looked identical to the boy who had stolen her heart.
Well duh, she reminded herself. They were twins.
But after a moment of casual observations, Alicia found that her eyes had remained stationary for far too long. Sure enough, the boy made his way toward her little table in the corner, watching her with the same curious expression she could feel on her own lips. Oh yes, this was most definitely a Weasley twin, for who else would greet her by her full name in such a questioning tone? She wasn't entirely sure why they did either, but it had become a custom when they had been in school together. Strange, right?
"Why Mister Weasley," she said with a quiet smile. "How nice to see you again. And here I thought that you had quite forgotten my name and face after going so long without seeing one another."
With a nod, Alicia motioned that he was welcome to occupy the chair beside her, a seat that was otherwise vacant from the various people in the pub. It seemed that the arrival of a Weasley Twin had been right on cue, before any of the sleazy men who glanced in her direction could dare to make a move, which might in turn force Alicia to cause a bit of a scene. Mad-Eye would have her head if she allowed that to happen while she was on duty. Sure, there was doing your job to keep the peace, but when you were supposed to be watching for any Deatheaters who might come wandering by with some valuable information, there was really no excuse that she could make to the Auror if things went wrong simply because she was being hit on by scum.
None that he would accept, anyway.

A smile lifted up upon the corner of his lips as she called out his surname. Though, it wasn't the reason for why he was smiling. It was because he had guessed that she wasn't sure of what twin he was. It was a common mistake everyone made, including their own mother. "A Weasley never forgets a friends' name, or a face," He said with a smile. He took comfort in the seat she had just offered, his eyes wandering around the room before it settled on her. "What are you doing here, may I ask?" He said with the same curious look he had on earlier.
Being here alone always made him nervous. Maybe because it was the fact that The Head's Hogs was all the way here -near the forest- and out of site from the other part of the village. Also, that more drunken grown ups spent most of their days here, and these grown ups were wizards who used to belong in the Slytherin house, and of course they weren't the brightest lot who could afford a job.
His eyes returned back to Alicia. "So, you know what twin I am right?" He asked in a tease. No one had ever gotten it right, yet. He leaned back in the old wooden chair, his arms crossed over his chest as he awaited for her answer. "Oh! I almost forgot George will be here any moment, he's running a little late but you know him," He laughed.

Were they not inside the Hog's Head that night, and perhaps if Alicia hadn't been on guard duty, she might have risen from her seat to give the approaching red head a hug. But as it was, she knew that she could not afford to draw anymore attention to herself then she already had by allowing herself to speak to him without the usual hushed tones. Mad-Eye was going to have a field day if he found out that she had been visiting while she was supposed to be on duty. Was there no end to his infuences? Even in his absence, Mad-Eye proved to be a rather intimidating source of power...
"Only Fred would be so bold as to address me like that," said the girl with a laugh, allowing a small hint of a smile to form on her lips as she tried to hide it behind the mug of Butterbeer that had been prepared for her earlier.
As if to reaffirm the fact that she was indeed talking to Fred Weasley, she heard mention of George following behind, which made her stomach jump violently in her body. George was to come as well? A part of her secretly wished that Fred was right in his assumption, but another part entirely was almost dreading his arrival. Of all nights to have guard dity in the Hog's Head, why did it have to be that night? If she saw him, Alicia was not sure that she would be able to keep her emotions under lock and key, for the last time she had really spent any time with the twins, she had Quidditch to distract her mind, as well as the idea of not getting hit in the head by a passing Bludger. But now that there was a chance for normal communications, something she had been lacking as of late, then what was she to do?
"Yes," came the soft response. "I certainly do."
Oh no, not now she reminded herself quickly. It had been a long time since she had seen either of the twins, and Alicia had worked hard over the past several years to make sure that nobody came to know the truth of how she felt for one of them. Angelina had Fred, or had had him for a little while there, so perhaps that was when Alicia's feelings had turned to George. He was the slightly less forward of the pair, at least in her eyes, which would explain why her emotions had tugged her so violently toward him. And the fact that he was a rather cute young man certainly didn't hurt things either.
Stop, demanded the voice in the back of her mind. You're making things worse!
Alicia gave her head a small shake, eyes darting around the room to observe the people, as well as avoid eye contact with Fred. "Guard duty," she told him quickly. "Mad-Eye wanted me posted outside of Hogwarts in case any uninvited guests decide to make an appearance tonight."

[[Too lazy to change accounts lol]]
Fred laughed at her comment. "Alright, true.." He said nodding slightly. It was true, only Fred out of the two addressed people with their full names. George was more the first name type guy. Though, Fred found it more appropriate to identify someone with their full names, rather then just the first. Fred looked up, seeing Aberforth carrying a tray with a butterbeer on it, towards where he was sitting. He smiled and nodded with a thanks when he placed the large mug on the table. Fred pulled out two sickles he had in his pocket and handed it to Aberforth as he gave a crooked grin and walked back to where he stood before, behind the bar. "really?" Fred asked raising an eyebrow. "Mad-Eye sent George and I here too.." He murmured. "Guess you doesn't want a girl like yourself to be alone." Fred laughed, obviously teasing. --
George was already closing up the store and of course late. He was supposed to meet Fred at The Hog's Head. Which was all the way in Hogsmeade. He sighed, knowing that he would take at least an hour or so just to get from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade. He walked through the back of the store, where the employees only room was. There was a fireplace there, meant for warmth and most of all transportation. He stepped inside the fireplace, and grabbed a handful of floopowder.
He took a deep breath and then threw it at his feet, clearly making out the words The Hog's Head in Hogsmeade. He landed in The Hog's Head with a grand entrance. Everyone from their seats had looked up with a wide-eyes expressions. "Sorry.." He mouthed out the words, as he was already coughing from the smoke of the fireplace. He stepped out of the fireplace and started dusting himself out. After shaking the dust from his hair and clothes out he looked around, in hopes that Fred hadn't left yet.
His eyes stopped when he found the only red haired man who sat in the corner. He walked towards where Fred sat, though his steps slowed as he saw a young girl sitting there aswell. His eyes met hers for a brief moment before he glanced away, at his feet. --
Fred heard a loud noise coming from the fireplace, and his head jerked in the direction of it just as he saw a figure stepping out of the fireplace. A small smile appeared on his lips as he saw George stepping out. He really knew how to make a grand entrance. "He's here," Fred laughed, as he walked towards them. "Nice entrance," Fred laughed. "Oh, this is Alicia Spinnet, and you know who this is," He said glancing at Alicia with a grin.

Oh yes, Alicia definitely knew that she was talking to Fred Weasley when he made some of those smart comments. In truth, it appeared that while Fred was the one who carried out most of the deeds that the twins put together, George had always been the mastermind behind the plan, the quieter puppeteer if you will. Nevertheless, a soft laugh passed by her lips, which she was quick to hide behind her hand. But then things seemed to turn serious almost instantly as he mentioned that the old Auror had sent the twins there that night as well, which created it's own swarm of emotions.
Didn't he think she was capable? If there was anything she hated most in the world, it was that people thought less of her because she was a woman. Perhaps Mad-Eye was thinking that she wouldn't be able to hold her ground if she were on her own. Or maybe it was because there was strength in numbers. Well, whatever the reason, Alicia knew she would be taking it up with him shortly, for she was not going to let him dictate how things went at her posts simply because she did not have the same physical presence as some of the men in the Order did. Then again, maybe she should just be thankful for the company, which meant that her night, albeit distracted, wouldn't be quite so lonely.
"Careful Fred. I can still take you in a duel," Alicia warned, sending a wink over her mug.
Commotion from the far end of the room then claimed her attention, and apparently the attention of every other person who sat around in the pub that night. If he had planned on making a rather subtle entrance, then the red head had failed rather miserably, which was enough to make Alicia feel a little sorry for him. Again, something that Mad-Eye really couldn't find out about, simply because she liked the company that her ears kept on her head. He really was becoming rather anal about the way things went, always having to be in charge of the situation when there was nothing to worry about. It was a little annoying really.
But as soon as Alicia came to realize who it was that had arrived so suddenly, which was followed by a spoken confirmation from Fred, her nerves began to dance. The last person who she thought she could handle seeing had been the one to arrive for the nightshift....George Weasley. And after only a brief moment of eye contact, his eyes seemed to drop down as if the floor were suddenly much more interesting to watch. The introduction really wasn't necessary, but she couldn't bring herself to correct Fred. After all, they had spent seven years in the same house at Hogwarts, and many of those seven years playing Quidditch on the same team as well. Had he really forgotten her so soon?
"Red hair? Must be another Weasley," she joked, smiling a little at George. "Long time, no see."

Fred laughed at her tease. "Yeah.. alright," He said sarcastically as she said she was able to take him on a duel. He had gain some more experience in dueling from Mad-Eye, Lupin, his own dad, and Sirius in the past few years since he had left Hogwarts. He had guessed they were afraid Fred and George weren't going to take it seriously, though it was true, they had been joking around for the first few days and already Mad-Eye had gave them a serious punishment for that. --
George pulled the wooden chair out and took a seat, across from Alicia. A smile still remained on his face as she ran through his features. Already she made out his red hair. "Is it that obvious?" He joked. He had remembered Alicia from the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and maybe a few times in the common rooms. Though, he wasn't sure if he had any classes with her, since Fred and himself were always stuck to have the first seats in the classrooms. The teacher's at Hogwarts knew Fred and himself fairly well, to have them at the back of the class.
"So what have you been up to these days?" He asked, trying to break the short and awkward silence that had gone on between the three. It seemed a little weird how the conversations didn't flow easily now, usually George was able to keep a conversation out with anyone, and not make it awkward.

Things had definitely changed since her years at Hogwarts, Alicia noted, seeing as how things could so easily go from a nice meeting of old friends into a slightly awkward encounter. Back during the seven years she had spent at Hogwarts, Alicia had once been able to keep up a record of seven conversations at once without getting lost in a single one of them, even though she hadn't been one for large conversations. What had prompted her to be so talkative? It was the fact that Harry had come back to school talking about the return of a certain Dark Lord that everyone had hoped was dead. Some agreed with him, while others brushed his comments aside as lies....something that Alicia hadn't agreed with at all.
And now she was sitting there with both of the infamous Weasley Twins, where a long silence suddenly came to pass between them. And of course, it wasn't until George spoke, trying to get the conversation back and rolling that Alicia snapped out of her past memories to focus on the present, what was happening around her. Guard duty....Hog's Head....right...
"Working for the Order, actually," she said softly, not wanting anyone to overhear her words. "Plans for going into Quidditch were kind of put aside when trouble started happening, and Mad-Eye recruited me just after Harry brought word that he was back. The events at the Ministry were...well....not pleasant to endure."
She had been there the day the Order had lost Sirius Black to his deranged cousin Bellatrix, but not in the way that she would have liked. Alicia had been watching the Minister of Magic from a distance so as to avoid suspicion, and returned to the Ministry that evening to gather some last minute paperwork for Kingsley when she had seen the Patronus that Remus sent to find her, saying that there was trouble and she had been needed. But of course, she had been too late to be of much help. Harry had already run off to hunt down Bellatrix, Sirius had vanished all together, and Remus was busy trying to make sure that the Deatheaters who remained didn't get ahold of Tonks.
A hand reached up to rub her temple a little, smiling softly at the two boys. "How's the shop? Still getting a lot of business from the Hogwarts kids?"

George looked at her a bit surprised, and slightly impressed. "The Order?"[/orange] He murmured, it wasn't supposed to come out as a question. George nodded, though he felt a little sorry for Alicica. She had a future planned out for her but now she was stuck being part of the Order. Of course Fred and himself had no choice either. But still, they were able to do what they wanted to do. But as for Alicia wanting to be a quidditch player he was pretty sure that wasn't going to be happening for a long time. --
Fred seemed slightly bored, since he had already heard all of this from Alicia before. Though, he didn't say anything to interrupt her, it kept the conversation going. A small smile perked on his lips as she asked about business. "You would not believe the first few weeks before school started, the shop was filled up so tight that there wasn't much room to move,"[/orange] Fred said grinning happily at their success. "Of course a few of the rare and new merchandise were sold out in the first hour or so.."[/orange] Fred said leaning back on his chair, that made a creaking noise. --
George laughed and nodded to see Alicia's surprised eyes. "It's all true,"[/orange] He grinned.
