Miles had decided to skip the whole dinner feast thing tonight, as it seems he wasn't hungry. He walked down a few halls, passage ways, and stair cases he finally made it to the Slytherin common room entrance. His eyes swept the deserted hall before he released out the password, the door swung open and he walked inside like a shadow. He heard the door swing to a close, and made his way into the dark room, where a fire dimly lit in the fireplace. The room was empty, and Miles sighed in relief. He couldn't handle anyone at this moment, the first, second, and third years had simply gotten on his nerves today. He had almost lost it today, wanting to jinx them with a spell or something but Professor McGonagall was with a group of first years.
Miles practically ran up the stairs to where his room was. He pushed the door open and walked in the familiar room, that held 4 other matching beds. He'd perfer his own room, but considering this school couldn't afford each student to have their own room, he was stuck with 3 other seventh years. To be honest a few of them weren't the brightest bunch here. He walked over to his side of the room and opened his trunk with a flick of his wand. He threw his bag and books inside.
He walked over to the side of his bed and rested his broom on his bed. He kneeled down and pulled out a long case for his broom from under his bed. He unlocked it and placed his broom inside. He couldn't lay anything valuable out and in the open in this room. He closed the lid and locked it, sliding it back under the bed.
He stood up making his way back towards the main room of the Slytherin Common Room. His eyes moved around the dark room and finally he took comfort in an armchair in the corner. His eyes gazed out absentmindly out the window, watching the sun setting.
